Meet Jamie Groom, the Owner of Remedy Spa in Wichita, Kansas, a wellness destination she has grown with heart and a mission. For the past ten years, she has been helping clients prioritize their well-being through high-end spa services and a commitment to creating a welcoming environment where they can "let it all go". Today, Remedy Spa has grown to two locations.

We had the pleasure of partnering with Jamie to create the high-end website and elevated branding she envisioned for Remedy Spa, resulting in a more refined aesthetic and a seamless booking experience for her clients.

The Vision Behind Remedy Spa

Jamie's motivation for starting her business came from a desire to do things differently, to build the kind of workplace and client experience she knew was possible.

"I was tired of working for a company that didn't seem to value their employees or clients and decided I could do better! I have worked tirelessly on building a team of the most talented and skilled professionals that have a true passion for their craft and want to provide the best experience possible to each and every person who walks through our doors."

That vision, of a space rooted in genuine care, has guided every decision she has made since.

What She Loves Most About Her Business

When asked what she loves most about running Remedy Spa, Jamie's answer reveals the heart behind her work.

"What I love most is getting to see all of the smiling faces and hear the wonderful feedback from our clients about how we have supported them in their wellness journey, helped to alleviate chronic pain and stress, and provided them an escape from the noise of our busy lives for a moment of some much needed self-care."

For Jamie, the reward is in the people. Every client who leaves feeling lighter is a reminder of why she took the leap.

Growing a Family While Growing a Business

One of Jamie's proudest accomplishments is something many women on a mission will recognize: building a business and a family at the same time.

"Growing a business while also growing a family. My daughters were 1 and 2 yrs old when I decided to take this crazy journey."

It was not always easy, but it is a chapter she looks back on with deep pride, and a testament to what determination and love can build side by side.

The Challenges Along the Way

Like every entrepreneur, Jamie has faced her share of hurdles. For her, the greatest one has been assembling a team that shares her commitment to excellence.

"Finding the right team of professionals that will uphold our standards of excellence."

Through patience, persistence, and an unwillingness to compromise on her values, she has built a team that reflects the culture she envisioned from the very beginning.

Advice for Women Starting Their Own Business

Jamie's advice is honest, hard-earned, and inspiring.

"You have to be ready to work 24/7 while you grow. Your business is your baby and you have to treat it as your highest priority. Your team and your clients come first, you come second (or third or fourth). It is not an easy road, but at the end of all of the blood, sweat and tears, if you have worked really hard, you will be so proud of what you and your team have built."

For any woman standing at the edge of a big decision, her words are worth noting.

Life Outside the Spa

When she is not at Remedy Spa, Jamie is busy keeping up with the people she loves most.

"I love to hike, bike, and try to keep up with my preteens!"

That same energy and warmth she brings to her family is exactly what her clients feel the moment they walk through her doors.
